FENCE program helps Saluda students dive deeper into force and motion

Michael McClure of FENCE recently visited Ginger Rackley’s fifth grade class at Saluda Elementary School to present Force and Motion, an educational program offered through Project FENCE.

In the Force and Motion program, students discover that force and motion are the two most important concepts in science. They experiment with the ideas of inertia, momentum, friction and gravity.

The visit helped Rackley’s students review various concepts such as Newton’s Laws of Motion, friction, force and velocity that are part of the unit they have been studying.
