Polk County High School celebrated the graduation of its 2017 class on Friday during ceremonies in G.M. Tennant Stadium.
Polk County Schools Superintendent Aaron Greene and Board of Education Chairman Geoffrey M. Tennant joined Dr. Brandon Schweitzer, principal and assistant principals Michelle Travieso and Josh Hill in conferring degrees upon a senior class of 150 students.
Valedictorian Rhian Alley, salutatortian Sarah Woods and honor students Shannon Collins, Addie Lynch and Jamie Levi in addressing students, faculty and the gathered crowd. A group of seniors, joined by guitarist William Krause, performed as well.
