Project W.I.L.D. visit helps teach Saluda students about importance of wildlife

Learning about different animals around the world in order to help protect their future – this is how Saluda Elementary students spent a recent day.

Staff members from the Bureau of Lectures’ Project W.I.L.D. (Wilderness-Investigate-Learn-Discover) spent Friday at Saluda, educating students on the value of wildlife and how animals and humans are connected.

During the program, students learned about different animals from around the world, including having the opportunity for some hands-on time with those animals.
