Summer interns help keep PCHS school farm going and growing

Dylan Parrish, left, and Jackson Tipton spent this summer working as interns at Polk County High School's farm.

Two interns funded through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation helped keep Polk County High School’s campus farm growing this summer.

Dylan Parrish and Jackson Tipton are both students in the Agricultural Education Program at Polk County High School.

This summer, the two were responsible for caring and feeding animals, maintaining the apple trees, muscadine vineyard, blue berries and the grounds at the school farm.
