The Polk County Board of Education wishes to express its appreciation to all the organizations and agencies contributing to the success of the Polk County High School Class of 2021 Commencement Ceremony.
The Board would like to thank the Tryon International Equestrian Center and its staff for allowing and facilitating the use of the covered arena. The Board would also extend its thanks to the Polk County Sheriff, Tim Wright, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and other law enforcement agencies providing assistance.
In addition, the Board recognizes the planning and involvement of Emergency Management Director Bobby Arledge and all the fire department and emergency service personnel who helped with the event.
Given the short notice for a change in venue, our community and these agencies were quick to rally around the Class of 2021 ensuring that graduation was able to proceed safely and smoothly. The Board recognizes the significance of the effort required to make the evening special for our seniors and their families.
