The Polk County High School Farm received a bit of help this summer thanks to a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
Grace Hagan, a PCHS student, spent the summer working as an intern at the school farm. Hagan is an active member of the Polk County Agricultural Education and FFA program.
In her position, funded by PCCF, Hagins was responsible for caring and feeding animals and maintaining vegetable and flower gardens.
