More than 300 Polk County Schools employees are wearing a new pair of Crocs thanks to a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
The PCCF Board Initiative Grant allowed Polk County Schools staff members hired before Oct. 5 to order a free pair of Crocs through Zappos.
PCCF funded the project, which was also extended to employees at St. Luke’s Hospital, to say thank you in a meaningful way to employees, boost the morale of employees who are taking care of others and to help keep healthcare workers and educators safe as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.
