Students in Kristy Cox and Beth Brangan’s first grade reading camp group recently spent a week studying R-controlled vowels.
The class concluded the study with a pirate treasure hunt where students had to correctly write R-controlled words in order to get their next location clue.
The students had a great time preparing all week for this activity.
