Foothills Equestrian Nature Center staff members paid a visit on Nov. 7 to Jennifer Schweitzer’s third grade class at Tryon Elementary to talk about ecosystems and food webs.
The presentations were part of FENCE’s program I Spy The Food Web, which talks about what is needed in an ecosystem to sustain life.
During the lesson, students learned about food webs and dissected owl pellets to learn more about an owl’s food chain.
