Fourth graders in Leann Wilson’s class at Polk Central Elementary have been creating and maintaining habitats for African dwarf frogs and will observe them to study their adaptations.
Students will also soon receive fiddler crabs and millipedes and will compare and contrast the animals and their habitats.
This spring, students will hatch chicken eggs to complete their study of life cycles, animal needs and adaptations. They will discover firsthand how all these animals contribute to our world.
