Fourth grade students in Marsha Davis’ class at Polk Central Elementary have been working hard of late to study procedural texts.
Procedural texts offer information or directions in a sequence so that those reading them can perform tasks in a safe and efficient way.
Davis’ students had to read directions on how to make their own Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, then follow those directions to create a Rudolph.
Students will complete their study by writing imaginative narratives on the daily life of Rudolph.
