Girls in both third and fourth grades at Polk Central Elementary are taking advantage of the opportunity to become Lego masters.
Girls are eager to work in STEM activities and this coding club at Polk Central gives them the chance.
Students are working on a Boomtown project where they will design a building that our community needs. They will have to use either a crane or elevator in their build and use coding language to make a mechanical machine work on their building.
The students will research the type of buildings needed in our community, design those and present their design to judge, discussing how they worked together to accomplish their build.
