Martha Halford’s second grade class at Polk Central Elementary recently received their first monthly set of books from friends of the class that have graciously offered to purchase one book for each child every month this school year.
This month’s books were donated by Marty Thomas from Peachland, N.C.
The students say, “Thank you so much!”
