In conjunction with its Career Day, Polk Central Elementary staff created a college board that displayed the different colleges and universities where staff members attended.
Titled “We went to college and so can you!,” the board encouraged students to work hard through school because many skills they are learning now in school will help them be successful as adults.
Staff members expanded this idea by sharing advice for students that is displayed around the school.
