Members of the Polk County High School FFA Chapter participated in National FFA Week at the end of February.
Students started the week of Feb. 18 participating in a campus cleanup with the Earth Gardens Club on Saturday. On Monday, activities began which included dress-up days such as FFA T-shirt day, Blue-Gold day, American Day, Hat Day and Farmer/Farm Animal Day.
Each day during advocate, students participated in the Agriculture Olympics, which included games such as seed spitting, egg toss, cornhole and ping pong.
The students also set up a booth at Polk County Middle School and shared information about FFA and gave away shirts as well. Teachers participated in a FFA and farm trivia contest each day as well as the dress-up days.
