School counselors at Polk County Middle School organized their annual Anti-Bullying Month emphasis for all students during the month of October.
The theme of this year’s effort was Let’s Change The World As Wolverines.
Each week, eighth grade students gave special announcements to all students, homerooms watched inspirational videos about doing small acts of kindness that could change the world and students participated in special writing projects in English Language Arts classes.
As a culminating school-wide activity, students and staff dressed up for a special school spirit day to wrap up the month of activities.
