Polk County Schools’ youngest students recently participated in special activities as part of National Association for the Education of Young Children’s Week of the Young Child.
Each day of the week provided a different theme for activities, those including Music Monday, Tasty Tuesday, Work Together Wednesday, Artsy Thursday and Family Friday.
One class made maracas for Music Monday and enjoyed tasting a rainbow on Tasty Tuesday while another celebrated Music Monday by playing instruments and dancing together.
