Polk County Schools will be in session on Monday, January 22, for all students, with a previously scheduled workday now a regular school day.
With schools closed much of this week for students, classes will now be held on January 22 on a regular schedule. There will be no workday in next week’s schedule.
The Polk County Board of Education also decided at its monthly meeting earlier this week to make Friday, February 16 a makeup day for the day missed on January 8. Thus February 16 will be a regular day of school for all students.
