Pixie Moore may have the largest heart in Polk County.
Every year since her fifth birthday, Pixie has asked for money – not for buying toys or candy, but to give away to special causes. As a five-year-old, for example, Pixie wanted money to give for cancer research because her grandfather had cancer.
This year, Pixie decided she wanted to give her “birthday money” to Special Olympics in honor of her niece, Kaylee Bradley. Both girls will be attending Polk County Middle School in the fall, with Pixie in seventh grade and Kaylee in sixth grade.
Pixie and her family recently stopped by Stearns Education Center and delivered $515 to support Special Olympics event in Polk County!
