Polk County High School’s Ashley Gilbert has been named the West Regional Teacher of the Year by the North Carolina Agriculture Teachers Association.
Gilbert and other regional winners were honored earlier this month during a ceremony at Benton Convention Center in Winston-Salem.
Gilbert is a 2007 graduate of Polk County High School and a 2011 graduate of North Carolina State University.
