Tryon Elementary participated in National Anti-Bullying Month by setting aside the week of October 23 to be Anti-Bullying Week.
School guidance counselor Tamara Black discussed bullying with each class. Students were also challenged and encouraged to participate in a school-wide “Anti-Bullying Poster Contest”. The posters were displayed around the school and prizes were awarded for the most creative posters.
