A group of Polk County Schools students spent the week of August 3 learning about robotics through an AIG Summer Seminar.
The Robotics and Engineering AIG Seminar, led by Linley Foster of Polk County Schools, allowed students to work with mulitple robots, including Spheros, Ozobots, Dashbot, Ollies and Tinkamos.
Students learned ways to control robots, including an introduction to coding. They designed and built mazes, runs and attachments for their robots and even built their own miniature working robots.
The seminar was made possible through a grant from the Polk County Community Foundation.
