Saluda Elementary’s new resource officer, Melanie Hicks, is getting to know the students.
Officer Hicks recently spent time reading the very funny book on safety, Officer Buckle and Gloria, to the younger students and talked to the older students about safety and her role in the school.
Saluda’s faculty and student body have welcomed Officer Hicks.
