While learning about Three Kings Day on January 6, students in Ellen Rogers’ first grade class at Saluda Elementary made crowns and construction paper chains out of the traditional colors

While learning about Three Kings Day on January 6, students in Ellen Rogers’ first grade class at Saluda Elementary made crowns and construction paper chains out of the traditional colors.

Among those colors, green represents faith, purple represents justice and gold represents power.

The chains – 10 loops each – were used to practice the math concepts of “less than”, “greater than” and “equal to”.
