Henderson Oil Company has awarded a $500 ExxonMobil Educational Alliance grant to Sunny View Elementary School.
Barbara Gilbert, owner of McGuinn’s Store in Sunny View, applied for the grant as part of her continued support of the school.
The grant funds will be used to supply classrooms with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) teaching materials and programming.
