To help promote reading during the summer, Sunny View Elementary School held a book distribution on June 6, when all students received free books to keep.
Formerly known as RIF and partially federally funded, Book Day is now sponsored by local sources including Pavillon International and a special fund at Polk County Community Foundation called Nancy’s Books.
