Sunny View Exceptional Children’s teacher Kellie Bradley recently received a Bright Ideas grant through Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation.
Franklin received $300 to allow her students to create and publish “Made with Love” recipe books. She will have all of her students bring in family recipes, which will be compiled with student writing and pictures into a book. Franklin then plans to contact a publishing company that will print and publish the books.
Students will have their own book that they have helped to create as a keepsake, and they plan to donate a copy to the school library.
