Tryon Elementary School marked the end of its Anti-Bullying Month with the help of basketball players from Polk County High School.
TES students boarded buses and made the trip to PCHS, where student-athletes from the boys and girls basketball teams spoke about the importance of keeping schools bully-free.
Students were then treated to a fun and exciting basketball game between Tryon Elementary teachers and staff and varsity basketball players. During halftime, students were able to participate in relay races and a few games of knock-out.
A cheering section was led by a group of teachers who emphasized working together to end bullying.
Throughout the final week of October, students also participated in spirit activities such as Wacky Day and SuperHero/Character Day.
