Tryon Elementary students ended the month of November with a special screening of the movie “Wonder” at Tryon Theatre.
Students in all grades focused on kindness throughout the month as part of their guidance program. Students participated in several activities to show kindness towards others and in the community.
As part of the month, students celebrated World Kindness Day by creating kindness/holiday themed placemats for a local nursing home. Students also wrote about and shared why is it important to have kindness in the world.
Tryon Theatre was gracious enough to host students for a special screening of the movie “Wonder” in which a young boy offers firsthand experience of why kindness is so important.
